Three-pillar scoring across 49,000+ charities

Every scored charity receives three independent pillar scores. Each score is calibrated against the full UK charity population, not arbitrary thresholds.

Significance

How much does this organisation matter? Significance measures scale, reach, and structural weight in its cause area.

  • Income and scale relative to cause peers
  • Geographic breadth and population served
  • Structural importance to the funding landscape

Execution

How well does this organisation operate? Execution scores operational depth, financial stability, and delivery evidence.

  • Financial health and reserves adequacy
  • Governance quality and reporting discipline
  • Delivery specificity from public evidence

Opportunity

Is this a good time to fund this organisation? Opportunity weighs cause-level underfunding against operating strength.

  • Cause-level funding concentration signals
  • Grant dependency and income diversification
  • Hidden gem identification for underfunded standouts

How the score is built

We don't resell the register. Every scored charity passes through a multi-stage pipeline, ingested from three national registries, entity-resolved, website-crawled, and weighted against the full UK charity population.
